Structured data (Schema / JSON-LD)
Structured data is markup that states a page's meaning in a machine-readable form, most commonly written as JSON-LD.
It lets machines read facts such as author, publication date and question-answer pairs without misinterpreting them. Google, however, states that structured data is not required for generative AI search.
